The Vitruvian figure represents humanist ideals about harmony between humanity and the rest of the universe - the figure that touches both the divine (the circle) and the earthly (the square) is a microcosm of the larger universe.

Turtles have been swimming our oceans for more than 145 million years, but today, climate change is impacting turtle nesting sites. It alters sand temperatures, which then affects the sex of hatchlings - many more females hatch than males, disrupting the tender balance.
