Giclée (fine art digital) print on premium archival paper, which is acid-free and stable for 200+ years. Hand-gilded with silver leaf.
The parenting journey of emperor penguins is pretty epic. Parents take turns incubating the single egg and raising the chick through extreme Antarctic conditions. After the female lays the egg, she travels to the sea to feed while the make incubates it on his feet and keeps it cosy under his belly flap for over two months, enduring the winter without eating. When she returns, they swap over and then take turns until the chick is ready to survive on its own.
This print makes a beautiful gift for parents with a new baby.
Please note, your piece is gilded on demand, so please allow 5 working days to make your print.
