Limited edition, hand-made drypoint engraving on Tetrapak, printed in blue ink on Hanemuhle paper. 28cm x 20cm, unframed.
The arctic tern undertakes the world's longest migration, travelling between the Earth's poles and back again in an epic journey of up to 59,000 miles a year. In its quest for survival, it sees two summers a year, and more sunlight than any other animal on the planet. Over the course of its 30-year lifetime, it makes the equivalent of three round trips to the moon. This piece is a celebration of the journey, and the right of all living things to roam.
10% of proceeds from this piece will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund to support their conservation work.
