This piece is part of the 'Wild Icons' series of etchings, featuring endangered animals from Brazil. The Amazon river dolphin faces threats from pollution from mining and agriculture, habitat destruction from dam construction, and direct hunting. These factors, combined with its slow reproductive rate, make its population vulnerable to severe declines. 

10% of all proceeds will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund to support their conservation work in the Amazon.
